Harry Talen has been working at ENGIE since 2009. At the time, he started as a trainee and gained broad experience within various business units of ENGIE. In 2014, he started as Plant Manager – the youngest ever – of the then brand new Maxima power plant in Lelystad. Under his leadership, this plant was prepared to run partly on hydrogen.
Currently, Talen is responsible for all ENGIE power plants in the Netherlands as Director of Flexible Generation – a role he continues to fulfill alongside his position as CEO of ENGIE Netherlands, which he assumed in May 2024. Beyond his role at ENGIE, he serves as a board member of the industry association Energie-Nederland.
