Leading companies from the Nordics share projects and insights on green shipping, focusing on hydrogen, its derivatives, and electrification. Through an introductory presentation on the status of green shipping in the Nordics and the Netherlands by DNV and strategic perspectives illustrated through case examples such as Stena Line, Stillstrøm, Wärtsilä, and Gråthen Ventures, this session explores where we are we now on green shipping and where we are headed. In a joint discussion on the key challenges and opportunities in the sector, we will address, among other things, the question “To what extent can shipping be electrified and when are e-fuels or hydrogen the better option?
